Pastor Chadd Harkrider was born in Malvern, Arkansas, in 1971. He grew up in a Christian home and learned of Jesus Christ at an early age through the Biblical teaching of their church. In 1981, he recognized and understood his sinful condition before God. That summer, he repented and believed the Gospel of Jesus Christ, trusting Him alone as his personal Savior!
Pastor Chadd met his wife, Morgen, at the Texas A&M University Police Department where they were both Police Officers. They were married in February of 1993 and now have two daughters, Kenzie and Sydney.
On May 27, 2001, Pastor Chadd answered God’s call to preach and moved to Springfield, Missouri, to attend Baptist Bible College. He graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pastoral Studies and Bible. While attending BBC, Pastor Chadd began serving at Wilson Creek Baptist Church in Battlefield, Missouri, as the Young Married Sunday school teacher. After graduating from Bible College, God moved him and his family back to College Station, Texas, where he went on staff at Texas Avenue Baptist Church as the Associate Pastor. He served as Associate Pastor for 10 years before God called him to Pastor South Side Baptist Church in January of 2016.
